What does music therapy look like?

Music therapy is conducted on a one to one basis, with possible group session later. Music therapy may look different for each child. In the early stages of treatment, the music therapist conducts an assessment and creates a treatment plan for each individual based on the individual's needs, music preferences, family values, physical and mental abilities, and beliefs.
