Kayla is a Registered Behavior Technician working in the field of ABA since 2015. She earned a bachelor's degree from Ball State University, with a minor in applied behavior analysis and a minor in autism spectrum disorders. Kayla is currently enrolled in a graduate program through the same university, studying for her master's in applied behavior analysis, with an emphasis in autism. She is pursuing the BCBA credential.
Started in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in Spring 2019, just before graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University. She quickly became very passionate about ABA therapy and decided to get her Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Utah. She plans to graduate in December 2020, then sit for the BCBA exam in early 2021. As a Jr. Consultant, she is providing direct care for clients while also fulfilling the Board requirements to become a BCBA. Her favorite part of my job is making a difference in not only the child’s life but also their family’s life, as she helps teach the skills to help their child live the best life possible!
Has been working with kids for years now and found that for him, there is no greater profession. He loves seeing them grow and change over time and use the coping tools and tactics he has taught them in their everyday life. ABA has allowed him to grow and expand my repertoire of skills and knowledge, and it has allowed him to continue working in the field he loves!
